The Team of the Appenweier Small Animal Center stands for professional expertise, many years of experience, and genuine love for animals. Under the leadership of Veterinarian Maria Apostolidou, As managing director of the location, Ms. Apostolidou ensures that pet owners benefit from state-of-the-art veterinary medicine of the highest standard. She studied in Thessaloniki, gained her first professional experience in a small animal practice in the Emsland region, and most recently served as senior veterinarian at doc4pets Karlsruhe/Karlsbad GmbH. Rabbits are particularly close to her heart – both professionally and personally.
She works alongside Specialist veterinarian for small animals and pets, Dr. med. vet. Elisabeth Huber, Senior veterinarian and medical director at the Appenweier Small Animal Clinic. After completing her studies in Giessen, she earned her doctorate at the University of Munich and successfully completed her specialist veterinary training. With over 17 years of experience in renowned clinics in Heilbronn, Kehl, and Kork, she brings extensive expertise to the treatment of small animals and companion animals.
The overall medical management of the doc4pets group lies with Veterinarian Susanne Arndt, She studied in Leipzig. After working in Cologne and Lahr, she took over her first practice in Karlovy Vary in 2013 and played a key role in building today's doc4pets group with three small animal centers and three practices. As an experienced specialist in cruciate ligament surgery, she further strengthens the surgical expertise of the Appenweier Small Animal Center.
Together stands the Team of the Appenweier Small Animal Center for modern diagnostics, specialized veterinary medicine and heartfelt care for animals and humans.
